Audi Glasgow Sponsor Icon Awards 2016

Audi Glasgow show their support to The Icon Awards 2016 as they seek to #CelebrateUKDiversity

The Icon Awards 2016 have partnered with one of Europe’s largest Audi centres to discover the nation’s most diverse and inclusive businesses and organisations.

As well as showing their support for the awards as a whole the Glasgow group will also be sponsoring the Spirit Award which seeks to reward an individual or group who has truly gone the extra mile in the name of diversity in Scotland.

Alan Webb, Head of Business, Modern Retails at Glasgow Audi outlined the branch’s reasons for backing the awards following the success of the inaugural event in 2015; “we watched the 2015 awards with interest and, like many others, were pleasantly surprised at the range of support for such a new initiative.  We are proud to be a partner for the 2016 Icon Awards, celebrating diversity more widely and recognising those who play a key role in raising awareness across our communities.”

Scott Barclay, chair of the Icon Awards committee, added his enthusiasm at the partnership, saying “I am thrilled to have Glasgow Audi as official sponsors for the 2016 Icon Awards.  Glasgow Audi are proud to celebrate diversity both in the workforce and the community and we look forward to working with the team to help celebrate the true icons of our society.”
