The Scottish Football Association show their support for diversity in Scotland!

We are delighted to present the Scottish Football Association as an official supporter for the Icon Awards 2016!

The Scottish Football Association celebrated the support saying “The Scottish Football Association is committed to ensuring football is accessible to all and we support this initiative by the Icon Awards to celebrate diversity. We want to create an inclusive environment and ensure all are treated fairly and will be working towards better diversity and inclusion for all.”

The Scottish FA’s Diversity Manager Hala Ousta is a member of this year’s Icon Awards committee and has been an avid campaigner for equality and diversity within football and wider sports activities.

Icon Awards chair Scott Barclay praised the Scottish FA for their recent work towards inclusion, saying “the Scottish FA have made tremendous efforts in making football accessible to all communities and I am delighted and proud that the Scottish FA are supporting the 2016 Icon Awards. We look forward to working with the Scottish FA in celebrating diversity throughout Scotland.”

Representatives of the Scottish Football Association will be joining us on the night of our grand Gala Final on October 23rd, at the Glasgow Hilton Hotel.
